Montgomery Mystery Hunt was created to give families in Montgomery County something fun, affordable, and engaging to do together.

Built by local Conroe business Pencil and Stone Marketing, the hunt was designed as a community experience: a modern treasure hunt that encourages families and friends to explore their town, solve clues, and make memories along the way.

Local businesses help make the hunt possible by sponsoring clues and prizes, allowing us to keep the experience free or low-cost for families while supporting the places that make our community special.

At its heart, Montgomery Mystery Hunt is about curiosity, connection, and community: no expensive tickets, no complicated rules, just real-world adventure families can enjoy together.

Why Create a Mystery Hunt?

Montgomery Mystery Hunt started from a simple place.

We are parents who live right here in the community, and like a lot of families, we struggled to find things that were genuinely fun to do together that didn’t cost a lot, require planning weeks in advance, or revolve around sitting in front of a screen.

We wanted something different. Something that felt like an adventure.

So we came up with a solution that does three things:
